LasHermanas: Friendship, Music, and Community Impact
LasHermanas, the dynamic duo of Allison and Angela, announce their exciting journey of
music, culture, and community service. Meeting in Italy, studying in Austria, and now living
in Geneva, these two women are united by friendship and shared passions.
A Shared Path: from Italy to Geneva
Allison, an Italo-Ecuadorian translator with a passion for piano and percussion, and
Angela, an Italo-Albanian political scientist who has been singing since the age of 13, first
connected during their studies. After a formal DJing training at the SWMX MUSIC
EDUCATION in Geneva, they turned their love of music into a thriving DJ and producer
partnership, blending beats influenced by their diverse backgrounds.
Their Motto: Live by the sun and love by the moon
It represents a balance between action and introspection. Live by the sun; embodies the
idea of fully embracing each day with energy, vitality, and light. & Love by the moon&
suggests the importance of loving with gentleness, intuition, and depth, like under the
soothing light of the moon. It is an invitation to balance life between doing and feeling, day
and night, strength and delicacy.
Collaborations and Projects
LasHermanas are gaining recognition through collaborations with DropNation
and Moustache Records Crew, Gmafia Records releasing tracks like Waning Moon and Moonlight Dance. They are also working on a DJ guidebook with the professor Andreus
Music, to inspire new talent.
Diversity and Female Representation
LasHermanas aim to promote diversity, culture, different educational backgrounds, and
support for young talent, bringing a strong female perspective to the tech house scene.
Community Engagement
As active members of the Leo Club of Geneva, the junior arm of Lions Club International,
they contribute to social and charity causes, embodying their commitment to leadership
and service.
